I don’t care if they’re “vermin”. Okay so they live outside and carry disease but so does probably half the human population. How is it okay to beat a rat to death and say “aw it’s okay because they’d come back or go to someone else”. Beating up a few rat isn’t going to stop others coming into your home! I have my rats here with me right now and they’re so intelligent and to think how terrified they would be if they were corner and being hit repeatedly and recorded on camera it just makes me sick. I would die before I let someone beat mine (not that that would ever happen). But instead of killing the wild ones people need to find a solution to their problem.
I like drinking coffee alone, and reading alone.
I like riding the bus alone, and walking home alone.
It gives me time to think, and set my mind free.
I like eating alone, and listening to music alone.
But when I see a mother with her child;
A girl with her lover;
Or a friend laughing with their best friend;
I realize that even though I like being alone
I don’t fancy being lonely.
